Got questions?
It's a fair question and we'd rather be upfront about it. Some agencies have long-standing relationships with existing umbrella companies and may receive financial incentives - often called referral fees or margin-sharing arrangements - for directing contractors their way. Switching means giving those up.
Some larger agencies also require umbrella partners to hold FCSA accreditation, which requires two years of trading history. FairGraft is working towards full accreditation, including SafeRec certification, and will have all required insurances in place before processing a single payslip.
What we offer instead is something that actually benefits the agency long term - lower contractor fees mean fewer complaints, better retention, and a cleaner compliance position as new regulations make agencies jointly liable for their umbrella partners.
